Most Thursdays the Chiltern Rangers run a volunteer conservation group which is open to all. Come along and meet the group at Wycombe Rye Lido Car Park and keep fit while helping to take care of your local environment at woodlands. Tools, gloves and hot drinks are provided. Wycombe Repair Café is run by volunteers and organised by Wycombe Environment community group. The Repair Café is located in All Saints Parish Church in the centre of High Wycombe. Bring your broken household items (mechanical, textile or small electrical) and we may be able to repair it. Opens 11am. Closes about 5pm. Enjoy a walk round the Rye and pay a visit to Pann Mill outdoor 'cafe' for cake/tea/coffee, view the variety of stands, or go into the mill itself to see how it works. Flour made in Pann Mill is usually on sale (dependent on water levels). Likely eco stalls: Wycombe Friends of the Earth and High Wycombe Beekeepers. Usually second Sunday. Wycombe Environment (WE) is part of the Environment and Climate Change sub-group of the High Wycombe Community Board – itself part of Buckinghamshire County Council. WE is not a forum for discussion, but for action, to cut carbon and boost biodiversity. On most Mondays, the group meets weekly for half an hour by Zoom on Mondays at 6.30 pm.
