About us

Wycombe Friends of the Earth is a voluntary campaigning group covering the Wycombe District in South Buckinghamshire, England. It aims to help residents learn about environmental issues and to become directly involved in addressing them at a local level.
We are affiliated to Friends of the Earth, one of the UK’s most influential pressure groups and the largest environmental network in the world. Friends of the Earth exists to protect and improve the conditions of life on earth – both now and for future generations.
At present, the group has approximately 20 local members and a group of about 12 individuals who meet regularly to develop our campaigns and share ideas and information.
Since our formation in 2007 we have had involvement with the following issues:
  • Food chain campaign
  • Plastic-Bag Free Eden Centre
  • Schools Energy Survey
