Vegetarian day
To raise awareness of the benefits of a vegetarian diet in terms of ethics and environmental sustainability. A vegetarian avoids all meat incl fish, but eats dairy and eggs. Worldwide, every 1st October.

Wycombe Environment (WE) is part of the Environment and Climate Change sub-group of the High Wycombe Community Board – itself part of Buckinghamshire County Council. WE is not a forum for discussion, but for action, to cut carbon and boost biodiversity. On most Mondays, the group meets weekly for half an hour by Zoom on Mondays at 6.30 pm. Wycombe Repair Café is run by volunteers and organised by Wycombe Environment community group. The Repair Café is located in All Saints Parish Church in the centre of High Wycombe.
