Most Thursdays the Chiltern Rangers run a volunteer conservation group which is open to all. Come along and meet the group at Wycombe Rye Lido Car Park and keep fit while helping to take care of your local environment at woodlands. Tools, gloves and hot drinks are provided. ‘Wycombe Env Projects’ meeting – MOST MONDAYS

Wycombe Environment Projects (WEP) is a projects group run by the charity Wycombe Environment Centre. WEP is not a forum for discussion, but for action, to cut carbon and boost biodiversity. The Wycombe Repair Café is a project run by the charity Wycombe Environment Centre. The Repair Café is located in All Saints Parish Church in the centre of High Wycombe. Enjoy a walk round the Rye and stop in on Pann Mill for cake/tea/coffee and view the variety of stands (books, plants, brick-a-brack, charity groups etc). Flour made in Pann Mill is usually on sale (dependent on water levels). Likely environmental stalls: Wycombe Friends of the Earth and Revive the Wye. Anniversary of Wycombe Environment Centre (2001)

The Wycombe Environment Centre was founded in 17 May 2001 by Frances Alexander and the steering group. After a large Biffa grant, they acquired a multistory building near the Rye Park, which opened to the public in 2003. In 2010 the charity had to move out, but found a new building in West Wycombe Rd a few years later. Finally, it moved to Chilterns Shopping Centre in 2014 and has been there (on and off) until today.
