Conservation volunteering Wycombe Lido (outdoor swimming pool) car park on the Rye. We run a volunteer conservation group every Thursday which is open to all. Come along and meet us at Wycombe Rye Lido Car Park at 10am and keep fit while helping to take care of your local environment at woodlands.

Tools, gloves and hot drinks are provided. Please wear stout footwear and appropriate clothing suitable for outdoors activities and the weather. If you would like to get involved then please contact us.

The local Population Matters group is hosting a discussion, presentation and film about population issues worldwide.

 

David Attenborough features in one of the videos and warns of the dangers of overpopulation. He is also a patron of Population Matters.

 

The event complements the current exhibition at the Wycombe Environment Centre ‘Sharing the Planet’.
