Get ready for an awesome live event where laughs meet urgent action! Join us in person to tackle climate change with humour, passion, and a whole lot of energy. Connect with other interested folks, enjoy witty takes on serious stuff, and leave inspired to make a difference. It’s all about bringing the community together for a bigger cause—let’s stand up, speak out, and stand strong against climate chaos!
There is a bar (inc. non-alcoholic drinks), environmental stalls and a vegan meal if you book it in advance. Doors to this unique comedy event open from 6:30 pm. The hot Vegan Cafe is provided by local vegan caterers, “Khepera”.

Dr Matt Winning
Our comedian is an environmental economist. His interests include the environment and climate, which his comedy focuses on. He hosted the Radio 4 programme “Net Zero: a Very British Problem” and has appeared on other Radio 4 programmes. His many and varied performances also include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
We are looking forward to an enjoyable evening of stand-up Scots humour and accessible climate change information.
Where?
This comedy event is to be held at the well-known Wycombe Arts Centre, Desborough Road, HP11 2PU. We recommend secure parking in the nearby Eden Centre. Disabled badge parking is available at the Arts Centre.
Environment Stalls
Local environment groups will be setting out stalls at the event. These will be the Community and Climate Cafe, Grow Together Bucks, Save Energy, Sue Sidley Art, Wycombe Environment Centre, Wycombe Food Hub and Vegan Food Stall, Wycombe for Fairtrade, Wycombe Friends of the Earth and Khepera for food. Enjoy the extra interest and learn more about local environmental activism.

Volunteers
