DESCRIPTION:National Tree Week is the UK’s largest tree celebration annually launching the start of the winter tree planting season. It is a great chance for communities to do something positive for their local treescape. Each year\, The Tree Council’s member organisations such as voluntary bodies and local authorities\, up to 200 schools and community groups\, our 8\,000 Tree Wardens and many others\, support the initiative by setting up fun\, worthwhile and accessible events\, inspiring upward of a quarter of a million people to get their hands dirty and together plant around a million trees. \nUK\, 4th Saturday in November\, to Sunday in a week.

DESCRIPTION:Wycombe Repair Café is run by volunteers and organised by Wycombe Environment community group. The Repair Café is located in All Saints Parish Church in the centre of High Wycombe. Bring your broken household items (mechanical\, textile or small electrical) and we may be able to repair it. Either way\, there will be no charge (except if a new part is required)\, although any donations will be very welcome. \nEvery 2nd Saturday of the month\, in High Wycombe.\n(note also that there are other Repair Cafes nearby\, eg in Marlow and Hazlemere)
