  • Population census for England and Wales – in 2021

    Every 10 years the Office for national statistics (ONS) conducts a census to determine the number of people currently living in England and Wales. The number of people determines the amount of development needed (e.g. houses and roads) and contributes to carbon emissions and resource scarcity (minerals, green areas, land for growing food etc).
