The Wycombe Environment Centre (on Holywell Mead near the Rye) was founded in 17 May 2001 by Frances Alexander and steering group. Due to financial constraints it has re-located a number of times e.g. to West Wycombe Rd and to Chilterns Shopping Centre (2014-2016).
