SUMMARY:Anniversary of Wycombe Environment Centre (2001)
DESCRIPTION:The Wycombe Environment Centre was founded in 17 May 2001 by Frances Alexander and the steering group. After a large Biffa grant\, they acquired a multistory building near the Rye Park\, which opened to the public in 2003. In 2010 the charity had to move out\, but found a new building in West Wycombe Rd a few years later. DESCRIPTION:The Wycombe Repair Café is a project run by the charity Wycombe Environment Centre. The Repair Café is located in All Saints Parish Church in the centre of High Wycombe. Bring your broken household items (mechanical\, textile or small electrical) and we may be able to repair it. Either way\, there will be no charge (except if a new part is required)\, although any donations will be very welcome. \nEvery 2nd Saturday of the month\, in High Wycombe.\n(note also that there are other Repair Cafes nearby\, eg in Flackwell Heath\, Marlow and Hazlemere)
